Our story · Founded April 2023 · Tyler, TX
Protect.Restore.Beautify East Texas.
Clear Cutters Tree Service isn't just a team with chainsaws; we're a family with a mission. Our mission is to protect, restore, and beautify the land we call home.
Founded in April 2023 in Tyler, TX, we're a family-owned and operated company built on grit, heart, and an unwavering commitment to doing tree care differently. We're here to serve our community one tree, yard, and property at a time.
How we started and why it still matters
Treat every job like it's in our own backyard.
From day one, our promise was simple. That promise hasn't changed.
It all began when our founder, James Patton King, saw a gap in the market for a tree service that led with values, not just equipment. In a region like East Texas, where trees are part of the identity and landscape, he knew there had to be a better way.
And so, Clear Cutters was born. We started to clear land and to clear a path to safer homes, cleaner properties, and stronger relationships with every homeowner, business, and landowner we serve.
We may not have decades behind our business name just yet, but what we do bring is powerful: integrity, hands-on experience, and a clear sense of purpose. Don't let our newness fool you. Behind Clear Cutters is a team of seasoned professionals who've been out in the field, navigating storm-damaged properties, maneuvering massive removals, and handling trees with the kind of care that only comes from people who respect the work.
We're not in the business of blindly cutting down trees. We're in the business of assessing what's best for your property, your safety, and the health of your landscape.
That might mean removing a dangerous tree, but it might also mean preserving it through skillful, health-based pruning. See how that plays out in tree removal and trimming and pruning. We're fully insured, BBB-accredited, and proudly committed to the standards that should be the norm in this industry: honesty, safety, and accountability.
A big first year, written up the way the crew logs a job.
We're just getting started. Our vision goes beyond being just a trusted tree service: we're here to raise the standard. That means tackling bigger projects and exceeding expectations in day-to-day tree care, leading with integrity and leaving a lasting mark of quality across East Texas. See the work in our case studies.
What drives us every day
What makes us different: our edge over the rest.
- 1
People first. Trees are a very close second.
We hire good humans first and train great tree workers second. Every crew member is screened, insured, and held to the highest safety standards. But more than that, we care.
- 2
Transparent pricing, no guesswork.
We believe in upfront, honest estimates. No hidden fees, no rushed decisions, and no sales pressure. Just clear, fair pricing and clear communication.
- 3
Deep local roots.
We're not some out-of-town franchise. We're Tyler locals, members of the Tyler Chamber of Commerce, and proud to serve the very community we live in.
Four commitments on every job.
- Safety comes first
- Every job we take is handled with caution, care, and compliance with best practices.
- Communication is key
- You'll never be left guessing what's next, because we keep you in the loop from start to finish.
- We leave it better than we found it
- No stray limbs, no sawdust piles. We clean as we go and when we're done.
- Local pride
- Whether it's a backyard in Whitehouse or a commercial lot in Tyler, every job reflects our reputation.
